The exhibit will be displayed in venues around Cleveland open to the general public and will be staffed by volunteers from our community. The impact that this exhibit has had in other cities is remarkable and shows its immense value as an educational outreach tool. The Center is looking for co-sponsors for this event from community groups, organizations and businesses. Also, the Center is asking for volunteers from various community groups to help staff this exhibit. These people would be on hand during exhibit hours to answer questions and help safeguard the display.
Interested organizations can call the Center for more information, or attend the next planning meeting which will be held at the Center Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00 pm.
Linda Malicki is executive director of the Cleveland Lesbian-Gay Center.
